For 26 years, generous supporters of the Foundation have raised more than $1.1 million to ensure Hillsboro Area Hospital, now called Hillsboro Health, continues to be a mainstay for health care in our community. 

This year, a private donor has made an incredible offer to match every dollar raised through this event! Our fundraising efforts remain focused on upgrades to infrastructure at the hospital, including a more modern and efficient central utility plant. This will serve as the backbone of planned construction projects, specifically, building a new addition for outpatient surgery. The expansion of our outpatient, day-surgery center is critical to bringing more advanced procedures, including orthopedic surgery, to our local hospital. We are committed to offering high-quality health care options close to home, so patients don’t have to travel far.
