Biography

Emily Jesgarz, PA-C, practices with Springfield Clinics Orthopedics and provides care at Hillsboro Health Specialty Clinics alongside Dr. Mark Greatting. 

Emily earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and her Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University Nebraska in Seward, Neb.

"I have always been interested in a career in health care," says Emily. "Going through health struggles myself during college, most of my care was provided by a physician assistant. I was absolutely amazed at the way she advocated for me and not only as a patient, but a person."

Emily is most passionate about getting to build individual relationships with her patients. She strives to treat patients as a whole person and not just as the conditions they are being seen for.

In her free time, Emily enjoys hiking and spending weekends at the lake with her husband.
