Hillsboro Health Foundation Gala Sets Records in 26th Year

The Greatest Gala

The 26th Annual Hillsboro Health Foundation Gala indeed lived up to this year’s theme, “The Greatest Gala”. 

A record-breaking number of gala attendees filled The Event Center of Montgomery County on February 15, 2025. In one night, generous donors contributed a bountiful $192,000 to the Foundation’s fundraising efforts. However, that was not all the evening had in store. This year, the Foundation also received a commitment of a private donor to match every dollar raised at the Gala, dollar-for-dollar.  With the help of this anonymous philanthropic donor’s match, the Hillsboro Health Foundation raised a record-breaking grand total of $384,000 during this grand event!

In his speech, Hospital CEO, Michael Alexander, shared with attendees, “These funds will assist the hospital in providing quality services for the surrounding communities for another 50 years. Without you, we would not be able to accomplish this. Thank you.” 

Projects that will directly benefit from this fundraising initiative include: the addition of an outpatient surgical center, an improved patient drop-off canopy, and the creation of a physical therapy services building.
